| Bill Sullivan was born in Oak Park, Illinois and is a graduate of Oak Park and River Forest High School. In 1989, Bill graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a Bachelor of Arts in Music and a Bachelor of Arts in History. In 1992, Bill earned his law degree from DePaul University College of Law where he was the founder and first editor-in-chief of the DePaul-LCA Journal of Art and Entertainment Law.
In 1992 and upon receiving his license to practice law in the State of Illinois, Bill started a law practice in Oak Park. In 1998, Bill founded Wm. B. Sullivan Realty & Co. He has never worked for anybody but his clients during his entire professional career.
In the spring of 2006 Bill effectuated the move of Wm. B. Sullivan Realty & Co. into a prime location on Marion Street in the heart of Downtown Oak Park. This new office space was completely renovated and historically restored in its arts and crafts tradition.
Bill has served in civic leadership positions for many years. He has been the Vice President of the Oak Park Area Arts Council and was a co-founder and President of the Oak Park and River Forest High School Alumni Association. Bill currently is the President of the Board of Trustees of the Cicero Township Trustees of Schools which collects, invests, and distributes all tax monies on behalf of the Oak Park, Berwyn, and Cicero public schools.
Bill uses his extensive and specialized real estate abilities to provide individual and detailed training to all of Wm. B. Sullivan Realty & Co.’s sales professionals. He promotes proactive, zealous, and responsible representation of the company’s clients while encouraging respectful and positive communications and relationships in every transaction.
Bill has a vast amount of experience in a diverse array of residential and commercial real estate transactions as both an attorney and real estate broker. He also served as an Adjunct Professor of Law at DePaul University College of Law having taught an upper class law school course in Real Estate Transactions in 2002. His expertise is well known and widely recognized in the Chicago-area real estate community.
